ShadowSuite
Enterprise or Point System, on-premise or SaaS, ShadowSuite is the Right Solution
ShadowSuite® is a highly scalable, real-time, exceptions based solution for middle
and back-office post-trade multi-currency, multi-asset class and multi-entity
securities processing, reconciliation, clearance, settlement, treasury and
accounting. Regardless of trading volume, ShadowSuite handles all combinations
of currencies, asset classes, and transaction types.
Highly Scalable, Real-time Middle and Back-Office System
Although ShadowSuite is designed as an enterprise-wide solution, it can also be used as a single asset class point solution. ShadowSuite can be the sole system for trading books and records to be used by operations, treasury and accounting departments. Since ShadowSuite aggregates a firm’s activity in one place, it serves as the “gold" source of information for risk, credit, regulatory and audit groups. The real-time core of ShadowSuite consists of a multi-currency general ledger, stock record and position and cash management components. With every transaction that enters or leaves ShadowSuite, each component of the core is updated in real-time.
ShadowSuite’s features and functionality includes:
One-Stop Asset Class and Transaction Coverage - Unlike traditional post-trade solutions, ShadowSuite is impartial to the currency of the product or the products traded. It supports equities, fixed income and derivatives and is equally unbiased as to how inventory is financed or short sales are covered. ShadowSuite supports securities lending, traditional repo, tri-party and GCF repo, swaps, and the use of an outsourced third-party.
Real-time Industry Interfaces – ShadowSuite speaks message-to-message with industry utilities such as DTC, NSCC, FICC, MBSCC, BNY Mellon, JP Morgan Chase, OCC, SWIFT, DTC ID, OASYS, Central Trade Manager, TradeSuite and ALERT.
Industry Leading Technologies – ShadowSuite utilizes a .NET development environment and Oracle’s relational database. ShadowSuite runs on standard hardware. For external messaging, ShadowSuite uses IBM Websphere MQ Series, MSMQ, Web Services, File-based and/or Vendor APIs for both inbound and outbound messages.
Wide Range of Format Types – ShadowSuite supports a variety of format types including FIX, FIXML, XML, delimited text, database table, fixed and variable length message protocols.
Reporting Capabilities – Users have 24/7 access to their database on ShadowSuite. Ad hoc questions can be answered as easy as pointing and clicking to drill-down into the historical information, which is available on-line. ShadowSuite’s reports can be run whenever needed, rather than having to wait for end-of-day processing.
Delivery Options – ShadowSuite can be deployed either on-premise as client-hosted software or delivered via SaaS (software as a service.)
